The Annual Accreditation Report will be completed by every accredited camp in its non-visit years. This reflects ACA’s emphasis on continuous compliance with the standards. The goal is to emphasize ongoing improvement and compliance throughout the entire accreditation cycle, not just during the visitation year. Completion of this report is through an online process.
Completion of the Annual Accreditation Report is due by February 15th.

Here are some questions you might have regarding the Annual Accreditation Report:
1. I am not able to log into my account, what should I do?
- A couple of things might be at play. Your best bet would be to give Kim a call and have her help troubleshoot the issue, call her at 312-332-0833 x 22.
2. I did this last year, do I need to do it again?
- Yes, the Annual Accreditation Report has new questions every year regarding different standards. It is a tool in which we use to emphasize ongoing compliance with the standards, and now as camps are slowly moving into 5 years between visits it is more important that we are making sure compliance is maintained annually.
3. Is there anything new I should know about this new AAR?
- A couple of suggestions are that one, we continue to support the phrase "Save Often." Make sure you are always hitting the save button, we don't want you to lose work. Two, we are also encouraging you to use a Notepad program over a Word program. Word is encrypted with lots of extra stuff so if you choose to answer the questions on a separate document and copy and paste into the AAR there might be some translation issues. We recommend Notepad for this as they are finding those issues are not as frequent. Here are the questions in the 2018 AAR for your reference.
4. I am receiving an onsite visit in 2018, do I need to fill the AAR out?
- Nope, those who are having an onsite visit in 2018 are not required to complete the AAR, they do need to sign the Statement of Compliance by 2/15/18.
5. I was bumped from a visit in 2018 to 2020, do I need to fill out the AAR?
- Yes, unless you are receiving an onsite visit in the upcoming summer, all accredited camps are required to fill out the annual accreditation report every year between onsite visits before 2/15.
6. I don't see my camp listed after I log in, where is my camp?
- Easy fix! Give me a call and I will take care of it! 312-332-0833 x 22
There will be continued communication regarding the AAR in our bi-weekly ACA IlliNOISE newsletter. If you need anything, email or call!
Don't forget that the Annual Accreditation Report is due 2/15.
