Do I still have a room reserved at Pheasant Run?
If you made a reservation at Pheasant Run, you will need to cancel that reservation. You will receive a full refund. You should call the hotel directly at 630-584-6300 and request to cancel your room(s). If you have any challenges - give Allie a call at 312-332-0833 x4 and she will be happy to help you!
Where will the conference be?
The conference will continue to be held in the Chicagoland area. The exact location will be announced following the New Year.
Will you honor the Early Bird Incentive?
Yes, we have a list of those that had booked your room prior to this change at Pheasant Run. So long as you book your new room(s) at the new resort (once that is announced) AND register for the conference by February 1, 2020 - you still qualify for the Early Bird Incentive. However, the incentive has changed. You will receive a $25 check following the conference should you maintain your registration and hotel reservation at the new site through the conference and have paid your balance. How do I get to this new place? Which airport should I use?
After 19 years of driving from Chicago to Pheasant Run, we have to rely on Google Maps to help us find our new location. Once we have our new location confirmed, we will create a page on our website that provides directions and how to find the hotel. We encourage you to hold off booking flights until we have our location, as the location might determine which airport you choose to use.
Will the price for the room be the same for the new location?
We have not confirmed that but we are working diligently to keep the room rate of $119 plus taxes at our new location. As a nonprofit ourselves, we understand how limited budgets can be so we will continue to keep the costs as low as possible. The conference registration rates will not increase.
Why did we move?
Pheasant Run has served as our base for close to 19 years and we have been continually grateful for their support! However, we’ve learned that the resort will be sold and is undergoing major changes that will not allow them to provide us the services and accommodations we need for our community and event.
What if I can’t make it to the new location but I already registered for the conference?
We are still planning to host our event in the Chicagoland area. If you already registered for the conference and/or paid but can no longer attend because of the venue change, we are very happy to issue a full refund. If you have further questions about this, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call Stacy at 312-332-0833 x2. We will honor this opportunity for a full refund until 15 days after the new location is announced. (So you don’t have to rush to refund now, you can wait to see where we are headed, first.)
Will the speakers be the same?
Yes! We are so excited about our speakers this year. We have world-class keynote speakers coming from Disney, Harvard Business Review, YouTube, and Ted.com. Our Education Session speakers have tremendous experience and knowledge to share cutting edge ideas and resources. This is going to be our very best program line up to date.
