Thank you very much for agreeing to consider this volunteer position with ACA-IL. After participation in a two day training you will become an Associate Visitor.
After a minimum of two visits with a Visitor you are eligible to become a Visitor. Associate Visitors and Visitors have a tremendous experience visiting other camps
and seeing first hand all aspects of another camp’s summer operation. We will pay for the Associate Visitor Course including meals and lodging.
You must have taken a Standards Course or Standards Update since 2007, before you are eligible to take the Associate Visitor Course.
Details of the Associate Visitor Course at JCYS Camp Henry Horner, Ingleside, IL:
- Associate Visitor Course: Tuesday and Wednesday January 12-13, 2010, starting at 9 a.m. on Tuesday and concluding at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday
- Standards Update Course: Monday, 1/11/10 (those who have not taken a Standards Course or Standards Update since 2007); starting at 5 pm – 10 pm, dinner, overnight and breakfast provided.
