What Will I Learn at an Information Session?

Join us to learn more about this popular volunteer role in our ACA Illinois Accreditation Program, also known as the Visitor Crew program, including how it can increase your professional skills and give you access to new ideas; all while providing a critical service to the camp community!

This Information Session is intended for potential volunteers and future volunteer Visitors of ACA Illinois. If you are from outside of ACA Illinois but interested in learning more about how to become a member of our volunteer Visitor Crew where you live/work/summer locally, please reach out to Colette Marquardt, Chief Executive Officer, at colette@acail.org.

Steps to Becoming a Visitor

Step 1: Be sure you meet the qualifications.


Step 2: Apply for a Visitor Training! Click on the training dates you wish to attend and hit the Apply Now/Register button!


Step 3: Attend the Visitor Training! You must attend the entire course to become a Visitor. If you schedule changes, let us know and we can help move you into a different course on different dates.



Attending the Visitor Course

The Visitor Training, previously the Associate Visitor Training Course, must be completed in order to become an ACA Illinois Volunteer Visitor. Click on your preferred training dates below to find more information on schedule, times, pre-course work, etc. 


Please Note: The deadline to apply to one of the below trainings is one month prior to the training start date.
